Prince William opened up about his mother’s death while comforting a 14-year-old boy who lost his own parent. While visiting a hospice in Luton, England with wife Kate Middleton on Wednesday (August 24, 2016), the 34-year-old revealed he still thinks about Princess Diana almost everyday of his life.
“Time makes it easier,” he told Ben Hines, a teenager whose mom passed away last summer, according to the Daily Mail. “I know how you feel. I still miss my mother every day — and it’s 20 years after she died.”
Admitting that men are not “great sharers” when it comes to their emotions, William made the young boy promise to keep contact with his brothers and father, saying, “Promise me that you will talk to each other.”
